Ron Judd made his Shedd stage debut in the role of old man Andrew Carnes in the 2009 Oregon Festival of American Music’s production of Oklahoma! He then returned for OFAM 2010 and 2011 as one of the beloved Gangsters in Kiss Me, Kate and Pete in Girl Crazy. For our Shedd Theatricals, Ron portrayed Mike, the stressed Stage Manager, in our 2009 and 2010 holiday productions of Irving Berlin's White Christmas and then as Franz in 2011 for The Sound of Music. Since moving to Eugene 6 years ago from Wichita, KS, Ron has performed in numerous productions with Cottage Theatre, The Very Little Theatre, University Theatre (UO), Trial by Fire Theatreworks, Terra Nova Theatre, and most recently with the Northwest 10 Festival. Sweet Charity now marks Ron's 46th. stage production as a veteran actor. Ron has also served as a professional IATSE union wardrobe dresser having worked on numerous productions including that of the late pantomime master Marcel Marceau; the Broadway tour of Cats; the former Olympian, Cathy Rigby, in her pre-Broadway tour of Peter Pan; the Trockadero Ballet Company; and with Cher during her Farewell Tour. Ron holds his BA in Music-Percussion from Hendrix College.
