This season Shedd Classical 2019-20 offers 4 new programs by Michael Anderson & Alice Blankenship's premiere chamber ensemble, microphilharmonic featuring music of Beethoven, Bach, Hummel, Mozart, Schumann, and Brahms; presents Shedd favorite Ehud Asherie in an evening of Gershwin, and welcomes back, after far too long, the great Gabriella Montero in an evening which includes Prokofiev, Rachmaninov, Stravinsky and a set of her renowned improvisations.
